This year’s AutoCon Convention had promised to mark the Honda Civic Type R Debut at an auction taking place in Los Angeles and on March 26; this promise was fulfilled when the company brought one of its bestselling Honda vehicles to the American shores, for the first time.
The all-new Honda Civic Type R 2017 is out now, after mesmerizing the onlookers gathered at Geneva event earlier this month, this state-of-the-art vehicle came as a surprise for majority of North Americans. In general, Honda customers in North America expected that Honda Civic Type R Debut may not be possible before mid-April and that the vehicle won’t be unveiled before the New York Auto Show.
However, their wait is over now and the car has finally appeared even in this region of the Atlantic, hitting the stage at the gracious AutoCon 2017 event; leaving the Type R fans delighted and overjoyed to see their favorite car.
One won’t be exaggerating to call the Type R a true “combination of speed and power” in the form of production Honda, the regular attendees of the AutoCon automotive performance – tuning convention had never seen before.
As far Engine, the new Type R is powered by 2.0 LC i-VTEC direct-injected engine while the turbocharged system engine’s peak ratings and torque are respectively 306 hp and 295 lb-ft. It has been learned further that in late spring, the Honda Civic Type R will finally be on sale all across North America.
